Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 53 Sports for a total of 14 pages. Check out the thumbnail and the preview of some pages in the pictures. They each feature the English verb in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. Let's Dance: An Introductory Lesson in Dance Education

So you have to teach MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE...and you're FREAKING OUT...and wishing you had taken up your parents on those dance lessons that they offered you when you were a kid...and you DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START?
Look no further! Having danced my entire childhood I have a strong passion for dance education and I have put together a resource to get you started in teaching dance in grades 6-8.
Included in this resource is:
-A worksheet including important dance vocabulary (includes answers)
-A fun "Getting To Know You" Dance activity which leads to creating an entire class dance (don't worry you don't have to know ANY dance moves - the dance is created by turning natural body movements during conversation into dance moves)
-Includes questions to ask for Getting To Know You Activity
-Worksheets for students to keep track of their dance moves as they create their class dance
-A reflection for students to complete when they are done their class dance
These lessons are sure to provide you with about 5 or more full periods of dance fun. If you have any questions, please ask! I have used these activities with many different classes between grade 6 and 8 and the students always love creating the class dance.

The first lesson involves students retrieving facts from informational texts about Michael Phelps, Simone Biles and Jesse Owens, and writing these on to a fact sheet. In the second lesson students need to use these facts to write three to four paragraphs about the individual athletes. In the third lesson students need to use prompt sheets to write up an introduction and a conclusion. In the final lesson your class will need to check their draft paragraphs for mistakes before writing up their work on a neat copy using the template provided.

Animal Indoor Recess Gross Motor Game

This animal themed gross motor game is perfect for preschooler and kindergarten as a rainy day game. This indoor game is for students to have fun pretending to be different kinds of animals.
What is Included:
How to Play
The teacher will place children around the room, where each child has enough room to act out the animal without bumping anyone else. The teacher will chant the poem. Students will pretend to sleep. When the animal is called, students will begin acting like the chosen animal. Start another round by chanting the poem again, and all students pretending to sleep again.
St. Patrick's Day Roll a Movement Brain Break-OT
