Make nutritional learning fun with this hands on activity. Students will get to sort through food images and decide if they're healthy or not. After cutting each image out, they will get to glue them onto two different plates; a healthy plate and an unhealthy plate. Students will then get to draw their versions of a healthy meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is a great card game to help introduce and reinforce learning about money and counting amounts.

HOW TO PLAY

1.Simply pass out the cards to all the players individually.

2.Encourage everyone to sit in a circle.

3.Pick one player to go first.

4.They are to read one of their cards. For example “I have 5 dollars. Who has 2 dollars?”

5.The next person who has the 2 dollars card reads their card and so forth.

6.Play continues until all of the cards are read.

7.If you want to make this more challenging, you can time the game and see if you can break your own record!

Simply cut, laminate and keep these cards for a long time! There are a total of 24 cards.

Do your students know how to properly make entries into a spreadsheet to keep track of their deposits and withdrawals? I have created an Excel and Google Sheets spreadsheet to make it easy for them.
