• You get 4 choices of how to print each gameboard; full color with colored border, color without border (less ink), B&W with border, B&W without border

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Black & White Copies:

Print Gameboards B&W, 2 crayons, & provide spinner. Partners take turns. Decide who goes first. You are not moving markers around the gameboard, just follow the path and take your turn answering questions. On your turn, spin spinner, if for example you spin 2, answer the first 2 spaces, if answered correctly color in your 2 spaces with your color. (second chances may be determined before the game starts) If answered incorrectly partner may attempt to answer correctly and if they do they will color the space their color. If both players are incorrect, leave space uncolored or continue to take turns until answered correctly (get out the manipulatives to prove your answer). Then the turn goes to the next player, continue in this manner around the gameboard. When you reach to end, each player counts the number of spaces they captured or colored and the one with the most is the winner!

Colored Laminated Copies:

Follow the directions above, but instead of coloring in the spaces with crayons, use colored cubes for each player to leave on their spaces along the path. When finished they can count their cubes to see whose color has the most.

ADAPTIONS

•Use 2 colored bingo daubers for B&W copies.

•Choose a different spinner for your game.

•Use a die or number cube and play the game with a playing piece that you move around the board, if you answer incorrectly you have to stay back on the space you were on, first one to the finish wins. Its just that some of the game boards have fewer spaces so using a six sided die the game might be finished too quickly therefore you may want to use the spinner for smaller numbers.

This product contains all of the fall and autumn themed counting mats for numbers 1-20. Each mat contains ten frames for students to use manipulatives to count to each number. Each set is differentiated and includes on set of cards with the spaces already covered and a set with the tens frame blank. Cards 1-10 also include the number name.

This bundle is a great addition to your fall math and literacy centers. The letter task cards have both Uppercase and lowercase letters. The students can practice matching the correct letters together by clipping the clothes pins onto the lowercase letter that matches the Uppercase one on each card. The number task cards have different numbers of fall-themed items on each one. Your students will count how many items are on each card and then clip the clothespin onto the correct number. Students will practice addition math facts with this engaging bundle of fall themed math fact games. This set of 11 games will be perfect to use during September and October to practice doubles, near doubles, and making ten. These printable fall themed games give your students extra practice learning their addition facts with a fun and engaging theme.

This bundle of games includes:

Doubles Games:

• 5 Apples in a Row - students roll dice and cover up sums after rolling doubles
• Acorn Double Race - students roll a die, double the number and move to the next sum on the game board
• Pumpkin Hop - students roll a die, double the number and cover up a pumpkin with the sum

Near Doubles Games:

• 5 Apples in a Row - students roll dice and cover up sums after rolling near doubles
• Acorn Near Doubles Race Add One - students roll a die, double the number, add one and move to the next sum on the game board
• Acorn Near Doubles Race Subtract One - students roll a die, double the number, subtract one and move to the next sum on the game board
• Pumpkin Hop Add One - students roll a die, double the number, add one and cover up a pumpkin with the sum

Making Ten Games:

• 5 Apples in a Row - students roll a die and cover up numbers that will add together to make ten
• Acorn Making Ten Race - students roll a die and move to spaces with numbers that will add together to make ten
• Pumpkin Hop - students roll a die and cover up numbers that will add together to make ten

These games come in color and black & white so you can print the color version or use colored paper.

Aligned with these Common Core State Standards:

• 1.OA.6: Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
• 2.OA.2: Fluently add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
