Color By Number - Adding & Subtracting Decimals

This product includes 16 problems of adding and subtracting decimals. This assignment is self checking in that students will answer the question and find their answers on the coloring page. Once they have located their answers they will color in that section until all questions have been answered.

2 Versions Included:

  1. Standard colors (Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink)
  2. Student choice (Students can choose 5 colors to use, this allows for individuality and creativity regarding their color choices)

Differentiation:

  • This product includes built in differentiation, every class/student is at a different level and to help with that I have included 3 different options for each version:
  1. All questions include a grid to help your students align the decimal.
  2. Half of the questions include grid to help students align the decimals and then try on their own.
  3. Questions only, no grid.

QR Codes:

  • Each of my color by numbers worksheets include a QR code which will take students to a set of notes to help remind them of the rules as they are working.

Resource List

This resource is a part of my 7th grade skills based curriculum that I am building, this is a work in progress and I will be focusing on 7th grade TEKS this year with hopes to expand to 6th and 8th grade. While I am based in Texas and most of the resources will be aligned with the TEKS, everything I am creating is skill based meaning they are not specific to Texas and can be used by anyone! Take a look through the Resource List linked below to see all that is available, it is a live document and will be updated as I go.
