Pre Algebra Thanksgiving Integer Operations Activity | Digital Printable

This Thanksgiving Pre Algebra or Middle School Math Integer Operations Turkey Activity Worksheet is a great way to celebrate the holidays! Students will be solving 30 integer problems including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. This activity is available in digital and printable versions.
How it works:
There are 6 turkeys on the page. Each turkey has 6 feathers. On the turkeys mouth is an integer. Students are going to choose which of the 30 integer expressions equal the number on his mouth. They will write the expression on its feather. Each turkey has a done for them example already included.

How does it work
-The letters to the phrase “LOOK WHAT WE ALREADY KNOW!” are one to a page for a total of 22 characters all together.
-On each letter are anywhere from 2-4 math problems from 6th - 8th grade Math.
-If you have 22 students in your class, give your students each a character. If you have more or less put them in groups and give them more than 1 or have the work together on one letter.
-Have them solve the problems, color the letter in and then cut it out!
Why is this awesome?
-You can let your students choose their letter (that way they can take questions they feel confident in)
-Students will be creating your bulletin board and take ownership of their work. This makes the class feel like their class!
-You can start them off showing them HOW MUCH THEY ALREADY KNOW and building confidence in them from the start!
