Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree

Directions: Tape Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree to a vertical surface or easel. Review the difference between columns and rows. Encourage the child to start at the top row and follow the rows left to right. Refer to the Christmas Tree key and have the child jump or move their arms forward, backward, right or left. To make this activity more challenging, encourage the child to state the direction they’re moving (right, left, front, back).
