MY Color Season Project - Advanced Fashion Design

By Mandy LaCour

This project is great for advanced fashion students and gives them a chance to design or create outfits that are complementary to their color season.

  • They are given 3 options to demonstrate their color season. They can sketch, take a flat lay photo (this is a picture from above of an outfit with shoes and accessories), or to make a mood board.
  • They also have to write a summary about what they learned about their color season

Prior Knowledge: It is helpful for students to know their color seasons prior to this assignment. This document however does include 2 QR code links that help students figure out their color season. It is just not very thorough.

Kitchen Tools / Utensils Life and Work Skills - Level 2 No Prep Unit

By YourTeachingDoc

This functional vocabulary kitchen tools activity is a fun and engaging way to teach identifying kitchen tools / utensils. Students need to know what tools are used in the kitchen when they are planning on cooking or working in a restaurant. Learning the tools found in the kitchen improve the life and work skills for all students.

Life Skills: Kitchen Tools Level 2 No Prep Unit provides direct instruction in familiarizing students with tools used in a kitchen. These skills will assist your students in becoming more independent in their daily life.
