Do your students need a Question of The Day for February? Using a Question of The Day can lead to tremendous growth academically and socially. The Question of The Day Fun can be utilized during your Morning Meeting time along with your greeting and other activities. 

There are Valentine’s Day questions, Black History Month questions, and kindness questions. All of the questions are on a Google Slide and can be used every morning during your Morning Meeting routine. All you have to do is bring up the Google Slide each morning and have the slide ready to go for that day. There are 20 EDITABLE and DIVERSE slides just for the month of February! 

Students will create connections and develop deep discussions with the questions.  Therefore, the skills they are learning during Morning Meeting will lead to connections within their reading texts. This resource is a non-fiction science text about heart health. There are a variety of activities that are perfect for Valentine's Day week.

The text is an independent read for upper elementary grades but would make a great read-aloud for the kindergarten and first grade. There is a YouTube video suggested. This is an easy Flower art activity that is fun to make! Just print out the pages on white paper, have students cut out the pieces, and paste the pieces to the template. Easy to follow directions and template provided.

The only way these files are different than the ones listed on the links is that these are in one giant PDF file, and they are licensed for a single classroom use (non-commercial). Valentines Decoration / Party Pack Pages: 1-85 : Pennants - pink/red chevron, with a Pink/White Polka dotted Character. Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers (0-9) & Symbols 86-170 : Pennants - pink/red chevron, with a Red/White Polka dotted Character. Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers (0-9) & Symbols 170 : 3" Blank Heart Squares. Pattern filled squares with a large blank white heart in the center. 172 : 2" (12x) Circles with scalloped edges. Filled with various cute patterns, with Valentine's Day sayings and images. 173-175 : 4" Squares (12x) same as 2" circles just in 4" size 176-185 : Valentine's Day Heart Tangram Color 186 - 195 - Valentine's Day Heart Tangram Black Shapes 196-197: Valentine's Day Dominos - each piece is 2.5"x1.4" with hearts instead of the normal dots 198-214: Large Hearts - Lots of different colors/patterns of Hearts for you to print out and use. Print these out and cut into strips to create heart or circle paper chains or cut shapes out of the paper. 354: Valentine's themed border. I put two sets of the Pennants so you could decide how you wanted to print out the letters. If you want to alternate them pink/red letters or just do all pink or all red.
