Giant PC Keyboard. Are you teaching a technology or keyboarding class? Do you have a computer lab you need to decorate? This giant printable keyboard would be great to print out, cut the keys apart, laminate and place on your wall.

Keys come in two sizes:

6"x5.8" & 4"x4"

Keyboard now includes the number pad, arrows and other keys.

Large size prints 1 key per page.

The size measures approximately 60"x20" (using spacing show in image) once you have cut out the letters / assembled the keyboard, but really depends on how much space you want to put between the keys.

This is based off a PC Keyboard. I have included both a color and black/white version so if you wanted to save that color ink, and print the black and white on colored paper, you can easily do that. Pages are separated out by the colors they should be printed on and I have included an image to show you which pages should be printed in a color group.

A particle engine is a group of dots that work together to display an effect on the screen. This lab features effects for rain, fireworks, bubbles, and falling sand.

Particle Engine Using ArrayLists in Java is designed to be an extension lab for ArrayLists (Unit 7) in AP Computer Science. This lab can be used for this purpose or it can be used for an activity for after the AP exam.

- Use ArrayList to create a particle engine that can make the following effects:

Rainfall

Fireworks

Bubbles

Sand Falling (and piling up)

- Full student manual allows activity to be student or teacher run.

- Fully coded answer key provided.

- Skeleton code can be given to students to make coding the environment easier.

Are you looking for an introductory activity to Coding that can easily be upgraded to extensive coding or robotic programming? This will activity will take you step by step to creating a "city" in EXCEL (we actually recreated the city that we built in our classroom, but you can just create it in EXCEL) and then shows you how to CODE out of the city. With the help of snip tools and pens, you have numerous coding challenges for Warm-Ups or Coding Extensions. Since we actually built the city, students applied what they coded to actual programs on the robots. It was a great experience!!

Looking for a fun and engaging way to teach Java programming? Look no further than "How'd You Make That!? Java Programming Labs: Pong! Designed with increasing levels of difficulty, this lab helps students develop their coding skills step-by-step. Students will create the classic game of Pong!

In Bounce Beginner, students will use the code provided to create the game. Much of the background coding has been done for them so they will be concentrating on creating and using objects and designing the game. To complete this level students need to understand how to use methods and create objects. If you are following my year long curriculum, students should be about to Java 7: Looping Statements.

At the Paddle Pupil level, students will fill in some provided classes and create their own versions. Some of the lowest level code has been done for them, but they will write most of the game with a skeleton. To complete this level students need to understand anything from the Bounce Beginner level in addition to how to create objects and pass parameters. At the Court Champion level, students will create the game from scratch. This requires them to understand Timers, collision, and how use graphics. Students will be given general direction, but creating the game will mostly be up to them. To complete this level students need to understand anything from the Paddle Pupil level in addition to Timers, collision, and basic use of the extends keyword. Keys are each 4" and fit great on takeout boxes to make them pop off the walls. This is based off a CHROMEBOOK Keyboard. You find instances where ADA is not being followed and you have your students design a new entry way in CAD! That's what this lesson is all about!! Students are made aware of a local building that does not meet ADA requirements and the owner is being sued. Your students work for an engineering firm. They must, first, research the law. Then they design a new entry way that meets ADA requirements.
