This Matrices Operation Mystery Project will have your students excited to review adding, subtracting and multiplying matrices. They will also identify the element, use Cramer's Rule and determine the determinant. There is a printable and digital version of this project included! Learn and practice optimization with this complete lesson. In this print and go lesson, you can print all 7 pages out and give it out as a packet to start the topic. Have them start off completing the word search with vocabulary associated with the optimization. Go through the guided notes with the optimization example with them (or they can do it alone with the guidance of the notes). Then have them work with a partner to complete the partner problems. After that they will complete the independent practice to see what they understand on their own. You can assign them the HW for the night. The next day they can summarize what they learned, reflect on what was challenging and what was not and then rate themselves on a scale of 1-4 to self assess how well they understood optimization.

This Algebra 2 or Precalculus Halloween Activity Mystery Picture is the perfect way to celebrate the holidays! Students will solve 16 questions involving operations with functions when given a value for the variable, find the answer on the grid and hand draw the image they see in the box onto the grid! In the end they will have a hand drawn Halloween picture which would make a great bulletin board!

I love this activity because:
