4Encourage your students to set new goals for themselves for 2024 with this printable flip book. A digital version is also included for your distance learners.

Discuss with your students the importance of setting goals for themselves. Help them develop goals that will challenge them without frustrating them. Help them come up with steps and actions they can take to achieve their goals. A data collection page is also included for each goal so they can monitor and track their own progress, encouraging responsibility, accountability, and self reflection.

The digital version is included as a link in the last page of the printable pdf. These print in black and white, two per page to save paper and ink. Print them on colorful cardstock or white paper so they can decorate their own. Punch two holes in the top and put together with pipe cleaner loops or binder rings. The digital version is colorful for a fun pop!

Your students/children will enjoy this end-of-the year reflection and review/new year goals and resolutions activity/project. It will help them reflect and review their challenges, accomplishments, and highlights of 2023 as well as what goals and inspirations they want to bring into 2024.

Looking for a fun way to incorporate themed vocabulary into your classroom or homeschool? Use these weekly thematic word work units to introduce new words and practice spelling, handwriting, sentence building, and drawing.

Each week features a different themed picture or pictures, six vocabulary words to learn, and five days of quick, fun activities using those words. Daily activities are numbered to keep the student on track and are quick enough to be used as morning work or in a literacy center. All units include five weeks of vocabulary work so that in months with four weeks you can choose the themes that best fit your classroom. Looking for a fun way to incorporate themed vocabulary into your classroom or homeschool? Use these weekly thematic word work units to introduce new words and practice spelling, handwriting, sentence building, and drawing. This bundle includes the Weekly Thematic Vocabulary units for September - May.

All of the 9 included units contain five weeks of vocabulary work. Each week features a different themed picture or pictures, six vocabulary words to learn, and five days of quick, fun activities using those words. Daily activities are numbered to keep the student on track and are quick enough to be used as morning work or in a literacy center. All units include five weeks of vocabulary work so that in months with four weeks you can choose the themes that best fit your classroom. Also included: black and white versions of all five weeks for easier printing.

This unit is great for a classroom but was developed with homeschoolers in mind. The daily format mimics several homeschool vocabulary programs to make it easy to use alongside older siblings. Pair the themes up with your themed unit studies for added learning! This vocabulary curriculum is geared towards kindergartners or first graders who need some extra vocabulary practice, but can be used by any age that needs to work on handwriting, reading, and sentence building skills.

Each week includes the following:

-Themed Introduction Page - includes a themed picture(s) and the six vocabulary words for the week. Can be laminated for a center to save on ink if using in a classroom!

-Day 1 - match the vocabulary words to their pictures

-Day 2 - trace the vocabulary words

-Day 3 - write the vocabulary words

-Day 4 - finish the sentences with the vocabulary words

-Day 5 Option 1 - copy the sentence and illustrate it

-Day 5 Option 2 - student picks a sentence from Day 4, writes it, and illustrates it

Creating art pages using handprints is a great way for learners to express their creativity and imagination with this simple handprint art craft activity. Since learners will have to deal with the paint directly this is a great sensory activity for learners as well, as they explore the texture of the paint with their senses while doing the activity.

How do learners do this new year's craft activity?

- Print out the pages you'd like learners to do for this activity.

- Provide learners with paint, you can get learners to paint their own hands with paint. Alternatively, provide learners with trays of 1 to 2 colors filled with a thin layer of paint, they will dip their palms into the paint.

- Learners will then place their palms onto the page to stamp their handprint and create their new year's handprint project.

- Leave the pages up to dry completely before giving it back to your learners.

This is a fun activity, but can get rather messy, so make sure your learners are aware of what they are doing so it does not get out of control. Keeping only a couple of trays of paint for learners to dip their palms into would definitely help with reducing the mess.
