Here are 29 different Christmas/Holiday/Winter themed Tangram puzzles for you to cut out and use in your classroom! Each tangram is on a 3.7" x 4.9" card and there are 4 cards per page. The color tangrams show the individual shapes while the black tangrams only show the whole figure as a sold color. The colored tangrams are filled in with green, red, white, blue and grey colors. I have also included 3 different sized tangram squares for you to print out in both color and black. The black tangram squares have white lines on them so they are easy to see the pieces and cut out. Mystery At The Theme Park is a video based Escape Room activity that is played with a YouTube Video (approximately 20 minutes) and answers are submitted on a Google Form. Students will have to watch the video, listen to the story, and look at pictures to find clues to escape from the Theme Park in time. There are many different ways that you could play this game whether it is as a full class and you try to beat the clock, or in small groups where students can work together to solve the puzzles! The links are in the PDF that you will get when you download this resources and all instructions to set up will be there.

The Prep to play this Escape Room is minimal-all you need is the video link and a copy of the Google Form for each group. I played this game with my Grade 6/7 class online and they LOVED it. I had students who were usually pretty quiet online take over and shine!

This packet contains SIX lessons and activities to teach about the Confiteor Prayer from the Catholic Mass ⛪ Liturgy. Students will interact with the prayer to learn the words as well as the meaning behind the prayer. They will think about the purpose of the prayer, and build their religion vocabulary.

· Page 3: Instructions

· Page 4: Full Prayer--This can be used as an answer key, and also as a puzzle. It can be cut into strips or smaller pieces for students to put together while thinking through the prayer.

· Pages 5-6: Understanding the prayer --this worksheet requires students to write the meaning of each line of the prayer. This will help students slow down and think about the meaning behind the words.

· Page 7: Fill-in-the-blanks--Students can scaffold their practice with the prayer by filling in the blanks on this worksheet.

· Page 8-13: Prayer Mazes --Students follow the words of the prayer through the puzzle. This works well laminated and placed in a station for students to recite the prayer repeatedly while traveling through the maze. There are two levels for the maze so it is easy to differentiate. There are also 2 versions of answer keys for the puzzles so students can work at their own challenge level.

· Pages 14-15: Handwriting--Students can trace the prayer to practice handwriting and spelling. This is available in print or cursive.

· Pages 16-18: Vocabulary--There are three ability levels for the vocabulary sheets. Students can fill out the blank sheet with a definition, example, and non-example. Or, students can receive a worksheet that is partially filled out or completely filled out. _______________________________

This pack includes 36 scavenger hunt cards and a printable answer sheet allowing students to record up to twelve answers.

This is a great way to introduce/remind students of the different parts of the library. You may also wish to do this as a challenge, having one student choose a card and find the book - record how long it took them, and make this the “time to beat” for following visits.
