This is a printable retelling of the classic "Gingerbread Man" story, that can be used on felt boards or flannel boards. Simply cut out the illustrations and glue flannel or velcro to the back. (You may want to laminate your illustrations so that they are more durable).

A written story is included so that you can read along as you put the illustrations on your flannel board.

This Christian children's book walks us through Caterpilly's resistant process of becoming a butterfly, with the guidance of the matriarch, Grandma Flutter. Grandma Flutter instills in Caterpilly a reliance on God and how we all have a purpose, even when we must change. Listen to the video preview of the story!

My story isn't nonfiction. I use cocoon in this, though the vast majority of butterflies come from a chrysalis, not a cocoon like moths do. Eric Carle explains more here about how poetry won over science in his choice, and I figure my reasons were similar when I wrote this.
