You will also find opportunities for students to reflect on their own experiences. Each fixed mindset statement is also listed on a separate sheet so that students can practice reframing statements from fixed mindset to growth mindset. These daily SEL journal quick-write prompts were created for September and cover the social-emotional learning topic of GROWTH MINDSET.

This creative writing bell ringer or warm-up activity was created for students in 4th grade and above (can be used up through high school). They are designed to help students think more deeply and critically about growth mindset and fixed mindset concepts.
