1) Inuit Culture and Life (6 pages):
Learn all about Inuit culture, traditions and modern life. Living in the Arctic is not what most of us are used to and the Inuit culture is incredible. Students will learn about how Inuit people lived and survived in the past and learn about Inuit communities that exist today. Students will learn about inukshuks and igloos as well. If you want the FULL unit which includes the activities and projects about igloos and inukshuks, here is my Inuit bundle.

2) All About Igloos (6 pages):
The perfect winter or Christmas time activity for you and your students. Learn about how the Inuit people used and built igloos in the Canadian arctic! 3 pages of learning, followed by reflection questions and a lesson plan for a building activity. Students will create their own igloos with modelling clay. This is a favourite activity for my students!

3) All About Inukshuks (3 pages):
Discover the importance of inukshuks in Inuit culture and life. Students will learn about the various types of inukshuks and what their uses are. The art project turns out beautifully - students create inukshuks using sponges and paint. This is part of my Inuit culture unit, but can be done on its own.

4) The Seasons - An Indigenous Perspective for Primary Grades (11 pages):

Looking to teach the 4 seasons to primary students? This authentic Indigenous resource teaches how Indigenous people traditionally survived the 4 seasons - our inventions, our hunting and gathering, ways of life. Students will decorate a tree for each season and print out the name of the season.
