Editable Bright Nameplates | Cursive | Multiplication | Place Value | Decor
By Kristen Teaches Fourth
Are you in need of cute and functional nameplates/nametags for your students? Look no further! This resource is perfect for you! These nametags measure approximately 4.27 inches high and 10.91 inches width wise (numbers will vary based on how you cut them out). These are a bit bigger so they won't fit in the holders from target but they are easy to laminate. Once you edit - print on your preferred paper (cardstock is my preference - I like Astrobrights), laminate and cut! Easy to cute - just cut across in the middle!
Students will be able to use these right away to help with their multiplication facts, place value and gives them an idea of what the cursive letters look like! I am using them in my fourth grade class and the students are already raving about how helpful they are - no more straining to see the posters!
I attach mine with velcro so that students can easily take them with them if they work in a different area of the room.
You will need a font KA Jackfruit for it to look just like mine. I included the link to purchase the font in the file. Zip files open to an editable powerpoint!
Review are appreciated and helpful for me! Please reach out with any questions or concerns!
Spring for Sophie Story Elements Reading Comprehension Google Forms
By Literacytales
This is a Story Elements Google Form to assess students' reading skills. This reading comprehension Spring for Sophie's Google Form includes 10 questions about the character, setting, plot, problem, solution, and a Bonus question for Extra Credit.
It can be used with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. Answers have already been created and added to the form. If you don't have the book, a link to the story is provided_._
Check out the All in One Reading Comprehension Google Form Growing Bundle.
Reading Comprehension Google Form Growing Bundle
I have used it in the classroom with my students. It has been a time saver.
First, make sure you link the form to the Excel spreadsheet. If you have already purchased a previous reading comprehension Google Form, you do not create a new spreadsheet. Just link this form to the old reading comprehension spreadsheet. Pictures accompany most questions to help students choose the right answer.
You will create a tab for each test by following the following steps_. You will also create a data sheet and save all the grades in one place._
Then, share the link with your students. You can post it on Google Classroom or send it in the chat via your virtual platform.
Students can open the link you read or listen to the story before or during the assessment.
Students start taking the test. When they are done, they hit the submit button. Scores will be uploaded to your excel sheet. It will include the average for each student.
The Benefit of Self-Grading Tests:
1- Completely Self -Grading
2-Paperless
3-Immediate Student Feedback
4-Easy to Analyze Results
5-Data Collection
Again, I emphasize Self- Grading.
Visit my Instagram Page for a quick tutorial on linking your Google Forms to Excel Sheets and to watch a short video of me using one of the forms with my students.
A Friendly Reminder: Google Forms are used with Google accounts.

Apostrophes in Contractions | Grammar Task Cards | Perfect Contractions!
By TaughtOught Homeschooling
Students struggle with learning contractions in English grammar because there is so much to remember: What are contraction words? Where does the apostrophe go? What is an apostrophe? What words come together to make contractions? What is the rule for using contractions?
This resource is a one-stop shop for a fully-comprehensive study of contraction grammar activities. Students will learn the rule of contractions in an easy flow format. These self-guiding task cards are broken down into small steps so students can learn independently and grow confident grammar skills.
NOTE REGARDING DIGITAL TASK CARDS: For use with Google Forms™
Students use these task cards to first clearly identify apostrophes and then contractions. Then, students will learn the rule for turning the words will, is, not, am, are, have, and would into contractions (including exactly where that apostrophe lives!) Once students understand that only the second word of a contraction changes, they are ready to build and break down contractions. After several activities to drill in this concept, students have the opportunity to review what they’ve learned.
This resource includes:
✏ 12 instructional cards
✏ 56 color-coded printable task cards
✏ 66 digital task cards (with built-in reward system and completion certificate)
✏ task cards include contraction review activities
✏ fully comprehensive lessons
✏ broken down tasks for self-guided independent learning

Advantages of Fry Words over Dolch Words The Fry Sight Words list is organized into 10 groups of 100 words each, covering the most frequently used words in writing. While Fry words aren't strictly tied to specific grades, they're usually introduced in sets of 100 words to support gradual sight word recognition. Here's a general guide for introducing these sets:
The 6th to 10th sets of 100 Fry words are usually introduced later, depending on the student's mastered words.
