Are you looking for an easy to use and engaging activity to practice phonics? Box it Up is exactly what you need. You may recognize this game; sometimes it called box and dots. Students will love playing this to practice their phonics skills! This product aligns with SOR based instruction and interventions (think UFLI) and will provide your students with targeted skill practice.

This product targets words with the prefix re. It includes an answer recording sheet for students to record their winning words.

Directions are simple. Students will choose a partner, pick a marker, and begin taking turns connecting dots. When they close a box, they make a tally. They will say the word and then record it on their answer sheet. Students continue playing until all boxes are made.

Pringles Can Pyramids Read it, Define it, Solve it, Stack it

Students will read words, define words or solve math problems written on 3 oz. bath cups to create pyramids. This fun-filled activity will get your students excited as they practice their academic skills as well as fine motor skills. You can store your cups in a Pringles can and use the three different labels for your cans. Students can follow up this activity by copying their pyramids on to a recording sheet. You can choose to write your words or your own math problems using a sharpie marker on the cups. This can be used for any grade level as your create the skills your student need to master. I've used 3 oz. bath cups which come in four colors in a pack made by Dixie. This way I could have up to four students working on the same skills from each can. The color coding makes it easier for each student to grab a certain color and begin working. Be creative and have fun!

Page 11 – Cut and Paste Notebook page - Stamp it! Notebook page – This page is already sized for a composition notebook and will work just as well in a spiral notebook. Students will use magazine letter cut outs to spell the word after writing it on the line. This page accommodates 5 words.
