This is a 25-page resource for Spanish teachers, perfect for beginner learners or native speakers.

• Five fall-themed short poems, each accompanied by a vocabulary sheet for students to cut and paste key vocabulary.
• The resource offers three differentiated versions of each poem:
  • a reading version for highlighting rhyming words,
  • a cloze activity for completing the poem with key terms, and

I personally use these activities with 1st and 2nd Grade students in French Immersion. Writing an Acrostic Poem can be a fun and interesting project for your students. Students can use their name, a season, holiday, or use someone else's name for a gift. This packet includes information to share with your students about what an acrostic poem is, the steps taken to write an acrostic poem, and why we write one.

Students will learn about the following before writing an acrostic poem - what an acrostic poem is, what makes up an acrostic poem is, what they can be about, how they are written, what makes up an acrostic poem, and a list of positive adjectives are also included in this product to help students if they are going to write an acrostic poem about themselves.
