Math in Speech FREEBIE - How Many? - Increasing MLU with Counting

By The SLP Curriculum

Target sentence production, expanding MLU, & subject-verb agreement for singular and plural nouns with this Math in Speech Therapy language FREEBIE! Use these teaching scripts, task cards, and No-Prep worksheets to expand students' language in a grammatically correct way while using their math curriculum.

All SLPS know how much language is embedded in our students' math lessons. Students are often prompted to answer questions verbally while learning new concepts. We know that our students with speech language impairments often have difficulty with this and need greater support.

This resource solves that problem! Help students to participate in their classroom lessons through repeated practice of these concepts. While they are learning to count in their classroom, we can also help to accurately produce the sentences. Teaching these concepts while using numbers and math concepts allows for quicker generalization into the classroom.
