What grade level:

I personally use these texts with Grade 1 and Grade 2 students in French Immersion. I feel confident that students from Kindergarten to Grade Three will find these most useful and teachers can come back to the texts with any students who may be experiencing challenges in their French reading skills. Core French teachers will be sure to add the resource to their repertoire for Grades 4 to 6 as they learn to read and write at the Junior level.

As the winter days wind down and the spring weather approaches, many come out of hibernation. The spring season is often a time for children to play outside, participate in outdoor sports, and just enjoy the feeling of being outside in the fresh air. However, during this warm and bright season, it can also be a time of anxiety for children. Children in the upper elementary and middle school grades typically take standardized testing, which is mandated by the state. Why you need Visual Classroom Schedule

Many people think of using a visual schedule for autism, but the fact is that visual schedules can be beneficial to many different types of students. Other students who benefit from a visual classroom schedule include:

• students who have a hard time with transitions
• students who have a difficult time adjusting to change
• students with anxiety
• students who need predictable routines
• students who are learning to read (or are learning to read in a second language) and need to picture cues to help them
