Learn about lots of interesting facts about books with this interactive notebook activity. Good for a Friday activity, for a substitute or for National Book Day or World Book Day.

What exactly is impeachment? In U.S. History, only three presidents have been impeached. Those presidents were Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump(impeached twice). None were convicted during a trial and finished out their terms of office. President, Richard Nixon, was going to be impeached but he resigned, pressured by members of his own Republican party, before he was impeached.

Use this webquest to introduce students to the issue of impeachment, how the founding fathers determined the use of impeachment in the U.S. Constitution and the history of impeachment.

Using the news in the classroom to introduce topics in history. A Phoenician trading ship was discovered off the coast of Spain and it is hoped that since the ship is only about 6 ft. down, marine archaeologists plan to bring the ship to the surface this year. Vocabulary instruction is an important component of literacy instruction in preschool. It also provides children with an understanding of a variety of words which in turn can help with later reading comprehension. When a child is exposed to vocabulary in a vocabulary. A child needs to be taught vocabulary in many different ways.
