Students will learn about the landforms of the earth when reading this nonfiction text. We have gone in and added the text boxes and directions to the TeachShare digital format, so you don't have to. This booklet was created for my fourth-grade students to help teach NGSS Grade 4 Earth Systems. My students live in New York, so it focuses on New York and places that are familiar to them. A New York State map with many of the landforms labeled is included. There is also a matching activity that can be used to assess student knowledge. While created with fourth graders in mind, it would also be appropriate for third, fifth, and sixth grades.
