Transition Chants - Inside Vs. Outside Voice / Speaking & Listening

By Early Childhood Essentials

RATING/REVIEW:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"EXCELLENT - research has proven that music assists in more effective learning! Cheers to YOU for producing this wonderful resource that will assist in students' learning! These chants will serve as pertinent 'visual reminders' when displayed in class, and assist the students to be more 'mindful' in the teaching/learning situation during the school day. Many thanks!"

Print, laminate, and hang these chants to your classroom walls or doors! Have your class learn these early into the school year, and they'll more easily transition between times of talking and no talking. I've provided tips and ideas for each one (there are 3, so the additional pages are guidance).

Other transition ideas: turn the light off then on again, or have a song played for 15-30 seconds so they know an activity is ending and that they need to clean up and listen up.

These chants are specifically telling the children what kind of voice they should use for the next activity, so this should be ADDED to current transitional things you do, not necessarily REPLACING current ones.

*GREAT FOR STUDENTS WITH COGNITIVE SPECIAL NEEDS OR ANXIETY*
