Addition Facts Games! Addition Fact Fluency Games MONSTERS Edition includes 9 MONSTER themed board games. There are 9 games in color and the same in black and white. 3 pages of spinners provided in Color and B&W, and an idea/directions page.

Black & White Copies:

Print Gameboards B&W, 2 crayons, & provide spinner. Partners take turns. You are not moving markers around the gameboard as in a normal board game, just follow the path and take your turn answering questions. On your turn, spin spinner, if for example you spin 2, answer the first 2 spaces, if answered correctly color in your 2 spaces with your color. (second chances may be determined before the game starts) If answered incorrectly partner may attempt to answer correctly and color the space their color. If both players are incorrect, leave space uncolored or continue to take turns until answered correctly (get out the manipulatives to prove your answer). Then the turn goes to the next player, continue in this manner around the gameboard. When you reach the end, each player counts the number of spaces they colored to determine the winner.

Colored (Laminated) Copies:

Follow the directions above, but instead of coloring in spaces, use colored cubes for each player to leave behind on their spaces along the path. When finished they can count their cube color to determine the winner.

Engaging work on the coordinate plane:

These 8 activities provide practice in a variety of skills using the coordinate plane. Students can complete digital activities, worksheets, and participate in games.

These activities are good for homework assignments, practice, remediation, or test prep.

Pancake Days Math Themed Activities and Centers - Students will develop their Early numeracy skills of counting, number identification, graphing, addition & subtraction, & making 10.

Print and Laminate materials from this packet for students to use in math centers, or for additional practice with groups or direct instruction. These materials can be utilized in a variety of ways to provide differentiation for your students!

Number Identification - Pancakes with numbers 1-30.

• Students can use the pancake flipper to "cook" the requested number and place on a plate (dice also included).
• Work on number identification by providing a choice of 2,3,or 4 options.
  Place pancakes on the griddle. Students can use the flipper to get / or flip the correct pancake.
• Place the correct pancake number in the pan.
• Use the pancakes to work on number order too!

Graphing - Students can graph either 3 or 5 items. You will need to print and prep the dice prior to graphing activities.

• Graphing mats included in color and BW
• Roll and graph.

Addition -

• Roll a dice (2x), add the pancakes together. Use a griddle to count pancakes you are adding and determine the sum.
• Make 10 cards - Print and laminate these materials for extended use. If students need visual supports they can use an expo marker to fill the 10 frame. How many more were needed to make 10.

Subtraction -

• Word problems with manipulative pancakes and person to feed. Count out the appropriate amount of pancakes, then feed your person to determine the differences.
• BW worksheets - students will cross out when subtracting pancakes. Determine the difference.

An online activity, good for any students who need practice working on recognising the value of and counting Australian money - both notes and coins. Students count the money on each slide and write the total. There are two Google Slides files included in the download, with amounts to add ranging from $5.45 to $50 in the first file, and $50.80 to $100 in the second file. Each file has 25 different amounts to tally.

There are other Google Slides activities in my store for counting Australian money, as well as Boom cards activities which have the added feature of allowing students to drag the images as they count the money as well as being self-checking.

Your primary students will love cracking the code with this unplugged coding resource! These secret Back to School words become clear when students follow the arrows!

This is an unplugged coding activity used to help primary students practice their coding skills (expectation in the Ontario Math Curriculum) and strengthen their reading skills at the same time. Students can enjoy coding with Back to School words early in August or September! Simply slide the page into a plastic sleeve, or laminate, to use as a literacy or math coding center activity. Students use a dry erase marker to figure out 37 sight words.

Start at the green star and follow the arrows on each line to finally land on a letter. That letter is the one the student records on the lines at the bottom of the coding card. Answer key cards are included.
