Students can answer these questions as the book is read or after they have finished reading the book or listening to the book. While reading this book and answering these questions, students will learn better ways to solve problems and how to be a good friend. They will also be asked questions regarding their own personal experiences about friendship. Students can answer these questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished. While reading this book and answering questions, students will discuss the sequence of events that were taken when the cubs returned home from school, the sequence of events students follow when they get home from school, needs vs. wants, the importance of communication, learning that there are other things to do as opposed to watch TV, and the importance of being present with your family. Students can answer these short answer questions, true/false, multiple choice questions, fill in the blank questions, and vocabulary/picture labeling questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and examples of the words used in sentences are presented. Students have the opportunity to use those words in sentences as well.
