By Ms Garcia Store

  • Vampiro
  • Calabaza
  • Truco o trato
  • Disfraz
  • Pesadilla
  • Huesos
  • Araña
  • Bruja
  • Zombis
  • Cementerio
  • Fantasma
  • Murciélago
  • Esqueleto
  • Superhéroe

2D shapes quiz game and Easel assessment

By Ms Garcia Store

Explore the enchanting world of 2D shapes with our interactive and educational quiz game!

Discover 13 captivating shapes:

  • Circle
  • Oval
  • Triangle
  • Square
  • Rectangle
  • Rhombus
  • Trapezium
  • Pentagon
  • Hexagon
  • Heptagon
  • Octagon
  • Nonagon
  • Decagon

Engaging Gameplay:

With 42 intriguing questions and 2 to 4 possible answers each, students will embark on an exciting journey of shape recognition. Most questions have a single correct option, but we've added a twist to keep learners on their toes. In some cases, all the options are correct!

Types of Questions:

  1. Which of these shapes is a square?
  2. What shape is this?

Learn and Persist:

We understand the importance of learning through trial and error. When a question is answered incorrectly, the chosen option is framed in red, accompanied by a buzz sound. But don't worry! The game allows you to try again until you find the correct answer. When success is achieved, applause resounds, and a green button appears, inviting you to the next slide.

Dynamic Slide Ordering:

Get ready for an ever-changing adventure! Our innovative Visual Basic code powers the green button, ensuring that the order of slides is never the same. However, we also respect your preferences. If you prefer a fixed sequence, simply click the blue "SKIP" button. This button ensures that slides progress in the exact order they are arranged. Feel free to use it occasionally to tailor the quiz to your students' learning level. When you have organized the slides in a specific order and wish to maintain it, always press the blue button, not the green one.

Empowering Interaction:

To ensure a seamless experience, you may encounter a security prompt when opening the document. This prompt is to enable content blocked for security reasons. Rest assured, this content merely houses the Visual Basic code responsible for the green button's dynamic slide selection. We recommend accepting it to fully enjoy the game's thrilling randomness. However, even without enabling this content, the blue button remains at your service for manual slide progression.

Exciting Bonus:

As an extra delight, our resource includes an Easel assessment with 28 thought-provoking questions to reinforce learning and assess comprehension.

Ignite Curiosity:

Combining fun and education, this quiz game promises to captivate your students. Unleash the power of interactive learning and bring a delightful educational experience to your classroom. Download the resource today and embark on a journey of shape discovery!

Spot the number in the hundred chart (numbers 1 to 1000)

By Ms Garcia Store

Enhance number recognition, counting, and understanding of number placement with our interactive Hundred Charts. This resource includes ten charts spanning numbers 1 to 1000.

The ten charts are as follows:

  1. 1 to 100
  2. 101 to 200
  3. 201 to 300
  4. 301 to 400
  5. 401 to 500
  6. 501 to 600
  7. 601 to 700
  8. 701 to 800
  9. 801 to 900
  10. 901 to 1000

This versatile game allows you to choose any of the hundred charts for practice, accommodating 1 to 5 players or teams. Select your desired chart and the number of players before starting the game. You can switch between charts at any time.

How to Play: (2 to 4 players or teams)
The objective of the game is to identify the placement of every number in an empty hundred chart. At the start, all numbers are missing, and players take turns revealing them by clicking on the empty squares.
During a player's turn, they roll the dice by clicking the green button located at the top-right corner. Clicking again stops the dice, revealing a random number. The player must then locate that number on the chart by clicking the corresponding square. If correct, they can click on their piggy bank to earn a coin, and the number will be marked as correct. If incorrect, a click on the square will mark it as incorrect. After completing their turn, play passes to the next player. The first player to collect 20 coins wins.

How to Play: (1 player or team)
The same rules apply as mentioned above, with one difference. If an incorrect placement is chosen, the player clicks on the hand icon, indicating a payment instead of earning coins. The game ends when the player collects 20 coins or makes 20 payments. Try to improve your record with each play.
Home, Go Back, Restart Game, and Exit

The four buttons in the top-left corner serve the following functions:

Home: Returns you to the first slide where you can choose from the ten different hundred charts.
Go Back: Takes you to the slide where you can select the number of players.
Restart Game: Restarts the game, including the chosen chart and number of players, erasing all scores and revealed numbers.
Exit: Ends the presentation.

Embark on an engaging journey of number exploration and mastery! Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please feel free to reach out. Enjoy the game!

Hit the number in the 100 chart (numbers 1 to 1000)

By Ms Garcia Store

Boost number recognition, counting, and understanding number placement with these interactive hundred charts. This game includes ten charts spanning numbers 1 to 1000.

The ten charts are as follows:

  1. 1 to 100
  2. 101 to 200
  3. 201 to 300
  4. 301 to 400
  5. 401 to 500
  6. 501 to 600
  7. 601 to 700
  8. 701 to 800
  9. 801 to 900
  10. 901 to 1000

This game can be played using any of the hundred charts, and it accommodates 1 to 5 players or teams. Select the desired chart and the number of players before starting the game. You can switch between charts at any time.

How to Play: (2 to 5 players or teams)

The objective of the game is to be the first to guess 20 hidden numbers on the hundred chart or to have the most points (coins) when all the numbers are uncovered.

At the beginning of the game, as the teacher, cover as many numbers as you like (minimum of 20) by clicking once on each of them. Then, ask the first player or team to identify a missing number in one of the blank squares. If they guess correctly, they earn a coin by clicking on the piggy bank and mark the number as correct by clicking once on the blank square. If their guess is incorrect, click once more on that square to mark it as incorrect, and they do not receive any coins.

In both cases, the turn passes to the next player or team. Repeat the process with the next number. The first player or team to collect 20 coins wins.

How to Play: (1 player or team)

The rules are the same as mentioned above, but when a player or team guesses incorrectly, click on the hand icon. Instead of earning coins, they will "pay" by deducting a coin. The game ends when the player accumulates 20 coins or when they have "paid" 20 times. Try to improve your record each time you play.

Home, Go Back, Restart Game, and Exit

The four buttons located in the top-left corner have the following functions:

Home: Takes you to the first slide where you can select from the ten different hundred charts.

Go Back: Takes you to the slide where you can choose the number of players.

Restart Game: Restarts the game you are currently playing, including the selected chart and number of players. This erases all scores and uncovered numbers.

Exit: Ends the presentation.

Halloween hangman Interactive Game

By Ms Garcia Store

Hangman Game for Halloween with 20 words to practice spelling, reading, and vocabulary, and have fun at the same time! Ideal for both distance and in-person learning.

Players must guess the letters of the mysterious word one by one. Each time a player suggests a letter, click on it to check if it appears in the word. If it does, all occurrences of that letter in the word will be revealed.

Every time a player guesses a letter incorrectly, a part of the hangman is drawn (the head, body, arms, and legs).

The game ends when the players correctly guess the mysterious word before the hangman drawing is completed or when the entire hangman drawing is completed (indicating that all attempts have been exhausted).

The 20 words to be guessed are as follows:

- Halloween

- Vampire

- Pumpkin

- Trick or treat

- Costume

- Nightmare

- Spooky

- Scary

- Death

- Zombie

- Broomstick

- Phantasm

- Mysterious

- Tombstone

- Superhero

- Haunted house

- Scarecrow

- Graveyard

- Fantasy

- October

I use this game with the whole class as a cooperative learning activity, but you can have them compete in teams or even make a copy for each of your students so they can use it individually on their own devices, or even as a center.

Have fun and learn with this entertaining Halloween resource!

I included two bitmojis of my face, but you can change them to your own bitmoji.

Silabario con 320 sílabas y 5 anchor charts. Escucha, escribe y aprende.

By Ms Garcia Store

Capture 5 math game

By Ms Garcia Store

Master addition and subtraction skills while having fun with Capture 5! This engaging game can be played by 1 to 4 players or teams, and it can be played on any of the ten different 100 charts ranging from 1 to 1000. Simply choose the chart and the number of players before starting the game.

How to Play:

The objective of the game is to collect 5 coins.

  1. Place 12 coins on the 100 chart by clicking once on 12 different squares. Each coin should be placed on a different number. If desired, players can place their tokens anywhere on the 100 chart by clicking twice or more times on a square. There are ten different charts to choose from, each ranging from 1 to 1000.
  2. On your turn, roll the dice (click once to activate and once more to stop) and move your token using any combination of the positive or negative numbers shown on the dice. You can use any number of dice from 1 to 5. The goal is to land on a square with a coin. If you land exactly on a square with a coin, capture it by clicking as many times as needed to place your token on that square. You can only capture one coin per turn, and it must be the last square you land on. For example, if you start on 45 and use the dice: +2, +10, +3, you record: 45 + 2 + 10 + 3 = 60. Click on your colored piggy bank (Blue, green, red, or yellow) to drop the coin into it and earn a point. Your turn is over.
  3. Repeat the same process (step 2) with every player. The first player or team to capture 5 coins wins.

You can play in six different modes:

  1. One player (Easy): Collect as many coins as you can in 2 minutes. Don't forget to click on the hourglass to activate the timer after rolling the dice for the first time. Place 12 coins on the board before starting the game.
  2. One player (Hard): Collect as many coins as you can in 1.5 minutes. Don't forget to click on the hourglass to activate the timer after rolling the dice for the first time. Place 12 coins on the board before starting the game.
  3. One player (Expert): Collect as many coins as you can in 1 minute. Don't forget to click on the hourglass to activate the timer after rolling the dice for the first time. Place 12 coins on the board before starting the game.
  4. Two players or teams: Place 12 coins on the board before starting the game.
  5. Three players or teams: Place 18 coins on the board before starting the game.
  6. Four players or teams: Place 24 coins on the board before starting the game.

Each game mode can be played on any of the ten 100 charts, allowing your students to practice with larger numbers.

The dice used in the game have a total of 40 faces, including positive and negative numbers ranging from 1 to 30.

Engage your students in exciting addition and subtraction practice with Capture 5! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need further assistance. Enjoy the game!
