There are many ways you can use this set of cards:
✫ Print, laminate, cut out, punch holes and attach on a ring for small groups to ask and answer questions.
✫ Project the pdf file in class to work in group or with your whole class and avoid printing.
✫ Use as a warm-up speaking activity with a conversation partner. As students enter the classroom have them choose 2-3 cards from a box.
✫ Students who finish their work earlier than others can choose a few of the cards and write out correct answers to false statements.
✫ Use as exit tickets. Give each student a card before the end of class and as they walk out of the room they tell the teacher their answer.
✫ Stations: Put students into groups and divide the cards amongst them. Have groups rotate to a new station as they finish the cards.
✫ Scoot: Put one card on each desk in the classroom. Give each student a response sheet and set a timer to give them just enough time to answer true or false and to correct the false statements. When the timer rings students move on to the next desk and the next question. All cards are numbered so it is simple to stay organized. Full instructions are included.
✫ Use the cards with board games. Students must answer a question in order to move.
✫ Use the cards as an icebreaker activity at the beginning of the school year or right after school holidays.
✫ Great resource for tutoring sessions and vocabulary building.

Looking for something interesting to do with your students after winter break? Before starting a new lesson I like to have students talk about what they did during the holidays. Here are 20 task cards with questions about winter break and the holidays that students can either ask each other or individually write down the answers to.
Work on these as a class or break students up into small groups to work on them, sharing their most interesting answers with the class as a follow up activity. French End of the Year Reflection Questions - French AP or French 4
By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
It is the end of the year and your French AP students have already taken their test, or your French 4 seniors have practically checked out. What can you do with them that will keep them speaking French during those last days of the school year? Students love talking to each other, and especially at the end of senior year there is a lot to reflect upon. This is a set of 15 reflection questions that you can print, laminate, punch holes in and cut out before hooking the complete set together on a ring. You'll be able to use these reflection questions for years to come. Have a look at the thumbnails and you'll get an idea of how the cards look and what the questions are like. If you look in the upper left corner you'll see a circle which indicates where you should punch the hole so that your set of cards comes out nice and neat. I have my students work with partners or in small groups to answer the questions orally. At the end of the year and after testing I don't require them to write any answers down on paper, but of course it is up to you. If you wanted to do something kind of fun with the cards you could alternatively play a game of SCOOT and have students write out their answers. The grammar used in these reflection questions is high level and will keep them on their toes! ☞This resource is included in my advanced French growing bundle☜ Merci beaucoup! Noël - French Christmas SI CLAUSE Task Cards
By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
When the holidays come around there's nothing else on everyone's mind, but it's a great time to incorporate French Christmas vocabulary into using SI CLAUSES! This is a set of 20 SI CLAUSE task cards that can be used at any level since you can have your students create 1st, 2nd or 3rd conditional SI CLAUSES. Check out all of my Christmas resources for the French classroom here.
As you see in the previews above, the infinitives to be used on each task card are in infinitive form. You can either instruct students to use a particular type of SI CLAUSE or you can just leave them to use their imagination.
The first part of the SI CLAUSE is provided to inspire creativity on the second part. French Christmas vocabulary is used in this set of task cards and images are provided in case some of the vocabulary is new.
There are 20 task cards to print out, cut and laminate for use year after year. In the upper left corner of each card there is a place to guide you in punching holes so that you can use a ring to hold the cards together.
There are also 20 answer cards provided to include in the stack. They are numbered like the task cards. Given the creative nature of these task cards a whole answer cannot be provided. However, I have written what the first part of the SI CLAUSE should be for 1st, 2nd and 3rd conditional clauses.
Included with this product:
20 French Christmas SI CLAUSE task cards in black and white (20 answer cards included)
20 French Christmas SI CLAUSE task cards in color (20 answer cards included)

Take the bus.
Élève 2: Vous voulez que je _____? (prenne le bus)
You want me to take the bus?

You want us to take the bus?

I like to have my students work in pairs when doing this activity. On the first try it usually takes them a few extra seconds to think about the correct conjugation of the verb in question. For that reason, I have them repeat each set two or three times to encourage fluency.

French Speaking Activity: Faire de la Conversation
By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
Your students are going to learn a lot with this lesson, and it will have them speaking to each other in no time. This lesson can easily be used with beginners, intermediate, or advanced learners. You can adapt it to every level. Beginners should at least know the verbs être and avoir and some very basic vocabulary. More advanced students can go far, as there are many possibilities. ☞Just click here to follow my store! Merci! ❤️☜ Activity 1 Practice making conversation during a phone call from your friend, Luc. He will ask you to come to his party. Your lines are fairly open-ended, but they must correspond to what he says next, so watch out! Activity 2 Before moving on to the second part of this speaking activity, let’s review some of the most common professions. You can practice this new vocabulary by clicking on the link above which will bring you to a set of review exercises on Quizlet. This document contains a list of professions in English and French, then there's another part with only the French word and an image. All of the images correspond to the images found within the Quizlet study set. After reviewing the professions vocabulary, proceed to the next page where you will see a picture of 11 different people, all with different professions. Activity 3 Tout d’abord, comment s’appellent ces gens, quel âge ont-ils, et quelles sont leurs professions? Have a look at the people in this picture. Use your imagination to determine what their professions are (you may not have the same ideas as others, and that’s ok). Once you’ve determined their professions, tell us what their names are, and how old they are. Again, use your imagination, and try to come up with some French names! Look just below the picture to see an example, then complete the exercise by providing the same information for the other 10 people in the picture (left to right). Activity 4 Now let’s imagine we’re at a party (une soirée). It’s time to make polite conversation (ce qui peut être difficile, mais nous sommes très polis, et intéressants!) Let’s imagine that all of the people in the picture above are at the party, but they don’t know each other. It’s time to make small talk (faire des rencontres et des échanges), en français! Activity 5 Randomly choose two people from the picture above. You’ve already established their names, ages, and professions. The objective here is to have two people who don’t know each other make small talk. You will be practicing your conversation skills, which are: starting a conversation, continuing a conversation, and ending a conversation. Advanced French conversation questions - L'Avenir - Le Futur
By Love Learning Languages - French Resources
Advanced French conversation questions - L'Avenir - Le Futur
Part of our series of discussions ciblées for advanced French students. List of 35 vocabulary words related to l'avenir - le futur with 20 thought provoking discussion questions. The questions are suitable for upper level and AP French or for middle and high school French immersion. This resource is especially useful for your chapter technology and the future.
I like to print the list of words on one side of a page and the questions on the other side so that students can easily refer to the new vocabulary during their conversations. If you make a two sided copy everything will fit on one page. A page with French vocabulary and no English translation for immersion programs is included.
Also included is are two sets of speaking cards for students to use prior to using the discussion so that they can become familiar with the theme and many new words. The cards just need to be printed and cut out so that your students can use them in pairs or small groups. Each card says, "Décris le mot suivant en français et ton partenaire le devinera." The vocabulary word is written both in French and English since many of the words will be new. This exposure to the vocabulary will make the discussion that follows flow easier. Students will still have easy access to the list of words on the other side of the photocopied questions. A French only file of these cards is also included, and these include images.
➯ This resource is included in my advanced French growing bundle
Included:
➯ 20 thought provoking discussion questions
➯ 35 vocabulary words to get ideas for discussion and studying
➯ 35 French - English vocabulary cards for paired activities
➯ 35 French only vocabulary cards for paired activities
