With this idiom matching game, students will view 15 English idioms which they may or may not have heard before. They will be asked to match the idiom definition to the correct idiom. Students can complete this activity digitally by making a numbered list and writing the idiom definition next to the correct idiom number. Students can also have a hands-on experience by printing the grid of idioms and the definitions. If you cut out the definitions, there is space to paste or tape them underneath the correct idiom. An answer key is included.
Feel free to delete the background picture to save ink when printing.
