Self-care plays an important role in the lives of teenagers, particularly in light of the myriad stressors they encounter such as peer interactions, academic pressures, family responsibilities, employment, personal challenges, and more. It is vital for adolescents to understand the concept of self-care.
This resource comprises a total of 76 thought-provoking questions centered around the practice of self-care. These questions are designed to be highly relatable and are intended to inspire students to contemplate their own self-care routines and experiences.
These questions can serve various purposes, including:
- Establishing a foundational understanding of self-care prior to beginning your lesson.
- Serving as assessment questions to gauge students' comprehension of self-care.
- Fostering meaningful discussions among students.
- Providing supplementary questions to enhance your teaching materials.

This resource includes 76 Self-Care Writing and Discussion Question Task Cards available in both color and B&W versions. You can use these questions and prompts for engaging discussions or as writing prompts.
✅ These Task Cards can be used as part of a larger lesson, in guided small groups, whole-class discussions, partner discussion before sharing out with the larger group or class, or even one-on-one with a teacher, guidance counselor, or parent/guardian! These Task Cards contain the same questions in the Worksheets.
✅ You can print the Task Cards out on gloss paper or regular paper and laminate. You may also organize them in a binder ring.
