In this project, students will embark on a virtual shopping adventure to purchase clothing items for a family in need. With $600 American dollars collected for a family affected by a recent house fire, students will use their language skills to navigate an authentic French online store to select clothing items for a family of four. My fashionistas get particularly into this one!
Students will:
Translate their American dollars into Euros
Browse through clothing categories
Convert to European sizes
Add items to their virtual shopping cart
Stay within a given budget
Take notes on new French vocabulary encountered during their shopping experience.
