This Four Corners Mini Debate Activity is a great no-prep activity that you can use any time of year for a fun, engaging activity that your students will LOVE!

Students will love moving around the room as you click through the 35 debatable topics - mostly controversial, but some are silly as well! This is perfect for middle school/high school, but teachers are encouraged to preview the statements and skip over any which you feel are too controversial for your student population. ►If you agree with the statement, move to the side of the room labeled “Agree” or “strongly agree.” If you disagree, move to the side of the room labeled, “Disagree” or “strongly disagree.” If you’re not sure how you feel about the topic yet, move to the side of the room labeled, “Undecided.” (I typically have "undecided" students stand in the middle and hang the other posters in the four corners of the room.)

***Students should be prepared to defend their position even if they’re undecided.
