Math Halloween Activity Finding GCF Mystery Picture | Digital Resource

Let your fifth graders practice Greatest Common Factor while having fun with this engaging, no-prep, digital Halloween-themed activity. I used it as a sub-plan in sixth grade and the kids liked it.

Each slide contains two numbers (less than 100) and the students need to find GCF. As they correctly answer the questions a mystery picture will be revealed.

You can use it for sub-plans, enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, extra-practice and spiral review.

Prime Factorization | Math Digital Activity

Ready to help your students MASTER Prime Factorization? This Prime Factorization is a step-by-step, online activity to help your students solve and master prime factor decomposition. This activity is NO-PREP and easy to use immediately upon downloading!

For this worksheet, students solve 20 problems by writing each number as product of prime factors. Students need to write down all the steps in order to solve each question! This encourages them to show their work!

This resource is perfect because it is self checking! If a term is wrong it will become red, students get immediate feedback so they can correct the misconceptions before they become a more permanent part of their thinking. This helps you get more done and helps students grow independence in their learning!

Practicing prime factorization will be so much fun! This activity is no-prep and easy to use.

In this worksheet students will factor 20 numbers.

Students need to write down all the steps in order to solve each question.

It is self checking: if a term is wrong it will become red, students get immediate feedback so they can correct the misconceptions before they become a more permanent part of their thinking.

I would use this resource after teaching a lesson on prime factorization to help students get hands on, interactive practice. You could also assign this to students who need additional work OR work through it with students who need additional support on this math concept. If you or your students prefer to use a paper and pencil, a printable version of this resource is included!

You can also use it for sub-plans, enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, extra practice and spiral review.

Solutions are not needed since the worksheet is self checking.
