This product includes 1 social story that focus on feeling confused. The short story includes comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the character who was experiencing confusion. When students are reading each story, they will review feeling confused, what happens when they feel that way, and what happens to someone when they are confused. They can also use strategies learned in this social story throughout their day to day routine. The vocabulary word confusion is reviewed and discussed, the questions: how do you feel when you are confused is asked and how can you make yourself feel better if you feel confused. Examples of feeling confused are reviewed in this product.

Student Moving Away Goodbye Memory Book Template Printables: 2nd Grade and Up

Do you have a student moving away?

This file is near and dear to my heart, as I was a kid who moved 16 times by the time I was 16. As a kid who moved so many times (most of the time, it was midyear), I would have appreciated a memory book or notes as a keepsake.

This file includes cover and ending pages if you choose to create a memory book for the student moving away. It also includes eight template pages for notes and three friendly letter templates.

It's a good idea for each student to choose their own template based on their relationship with the student who is moving away. Students can place their notes inside an envelope, or your class can create a goodbye memory book.

Kirsten Tulsian has 18 years of experience in elementary education. She has been a homeroom teacher for first grade, third grade, and fourth grade, as well as ESL. She has also been a school counselor for grades PK-6, an ESL pullout teacher for K-6, and a Reading Recovery Teacher. She received her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and psychology from The University of Iowa and a Master’s of Education in school counseling from Sam Houston State University. Use this Google Slide file to display these beautiful images one-by-one on a large screen. *NOTE: this is a yearly event; it will take most of a full school year for any student to complete all 30 gaming badges…and that’s a good thing! *Students may try for any badge, in any order, however, students will want to start working on gaining easy gaming badges first, before trying to get the harder ones done. *Once students accomplish the criteria for a certain badge, either the teacher or the student may take colored pencils (only) to color the accomplished badge, so it looks similar to the completed version. *Move on to completing another great gaming badge.
