Group perspective taking activity targets social awareness, finding common interests, and conversation skills.

Kids to have fun learning about others and sharing about themselves. Students have to think like their peers in order to try to guess what their peers would choose.

This Social Emotional resource contains:

• an instruction sheet to plan your lesson
• 5 sheets of 12 cards with only words (60 pairs total)
• 1 sheet of 12 cards with only pictures
• 1 sheet of 12 cards with the same pictures and written text underneath

With 120 Scenario cards and 36 Mood Descriptors, you can play this SEL card game over and over again and it will always be new!

Increase your students' social skills with this card game! It makes it fun for kids to take the view point of their peers as they think critically about which circumstances would provoke certain feelings.

By matching scenarios with appropriate moods and feelings, children develop empathy and learn to communicate and express their own emotions effectively. The cards have a mix of silly and relevant social scenarios that are perfect prompts for sharing feelings and experiences.

Christmas BINGO Class Game : Just print and ready to go for 30 Students!

Kit includes :
* 30 different BINGO Cards
* 5 Caller Sheets

INSTRUCTIONS: Print and go!
Print all five Calling Cards for the BINGO caller. Each piece may be cut apart and tossed into a hat, or remain on the sheet for the caller to pick out the letters.

Print 30 BINGO cards. Each card should be at least slightly different, as they were hand-scrambled digitally. (You may still be likely to have more than one BINGO at a time.)

Use anything you have on-hand to cover the BINGO cards : peppermints, buttons, erasers, small candy pieces, pennies, etc.

Great for indoor recess or substitute plans!

This Bingo game is a great game to familiarize students with a variety of helpful and unhelpful coping skills. This is a great game for individual, small group or even whole class activities. This game is the perfect supplement to your SEL lessons.

This bingo game includes the following unhelpful and helpful coping skills:

Counting, have a drink, bounce on ball, happy thoughts, hug favourite toy, stress ball, go for a walk, play play-doh, read a book, talk to someone, write it down, refuse to work together, pushing others, giving up, bossing others around, not listening, kick things, kick someone, tantrum, destroy property, throw items, using swear words and telling lies.

HOW TO PLAY

The caller reads the bingo card, and the players identify whether they have that card on their BINGO mat. If they do, then they cross it off and the first to cross off all 16 coping skills on their unique mat first wins the game!

There are over 40 different Bingo mats for larger classes as well as colourful and engaging community helper cards.

MYSTERY SQUARES

This is such a fun game for children to develop their questioning and vocabulary. This is based on the secret squares game which you can no longer buy.

A hider will hide one token under one of the picture cards - without the seeker looking. The seeker must try and work out which card the token is under by asking a series of questions.

Contents:

This pack contains 150 picture squares in color

Example of categories in this resource:

-Animals (jungle/zoo, birds, insects, farm, ocean etc);

-Clothing;

-Food (vegetables, fruit, sweet etc)

-Body Parts

Paying the game:

Aim: Guess the mystery square!

Set Up: randomly choose 25 cards and lay them face up in a 5 x 5 pattern.

Chooser a hider and a seeker. The hider will hide one token under one of the picture cards - without the seeker looking.

The seeker must try and work out which card the token is under by asking a series of questions.

The seeker can ask questions that can be answered by yes or no:

Is it transport?

Is it fruit?

Is it in the top row?

The seeker cannot ask questions that are not answered by a yes or no, such as:

What color is it?

What letter does it start with?

The seeker gets 7 questions to ask. Remove the cards that can be eliminated after each question.

Kids to have fun learning about others and sharing about themselves. Students have to think like their peers in order to try to guess what their peers would choose.

This Social Emotional resource contains:

• an instruction sheet to plan your lesson
• 5 sheets of 12 cards with only words (60 pairs total)
• 1 sheet of 12 cards with only pictures
• 1 sheet of 12 cards with the same pictures and written text underneath
• one blank grid so you can write your own or have your students make their own!

Just cut along the perforated lines and fold along the solid lines. Then turn the cards face down. Kids take turns picking a card and reading the 2 choices. Then the rest of the group has to try to guess what that player would choose. (Not what they would choose!). The player then tells the group their preference.

How do you play this game?

Each student fills their BINGO board with the names of their classmates or group members in any random order. You then read the clues (that you've created in advance). There are premade clue cards for inspiration (you complete the clues by filling in the blanks with your students' unique information). You can also use the blank cards to create your own clues.

This Classmate BINGO game has been designed to be adaptable to meet various goals/needs and to keep things fresh. A list of adapted games you can play using the product materials and/or items you already have in your classroom/therapy room is included in the download.

You can play year round! It's a fun game that helps strengthen classmate connections, encourages friendships, and improves social emotional learning skills. It is also a great game to play as a follow-up to back to school, getting to know you, all about me, or icebreaker activities. Once the students have learned some facts about each other, this group therapy / classroom game is a fun way to help to reinforce the knowledge they have learned. 

You can play Classmate Connection BINGO as a back to school or first week of school game. It's also great to play after a break, throughout the school year as the students learn more about each other, and at the end of the school year so the students can take pride in how much they’ve learned about each other.
