FREE Handwriting Practice: 5 positive affirmations in both print and cursive

By Betsy Newmeyer

These 10 free printing penmanship practice pages let your elementary students practice their printing and cursive all while writing (and hopefully internalizing) a weekly positive affirmation statement. It's perfect for individual practice or use as a centers activity. This PDF document includes 10 sample handwriting practice pages - 5 printing pages and 5 cursive pages - and is printable.

If you like this product, consider purchasing Printing Handwriting Practice with 48 Weekly Positive Affirmations and Cursive Handwriting Practice with 48 Weekly Positive Affirmations. The full resource can be a stand-alone product or work in conjunction with the 2023-24 Teacher Planner, 2023-24 Student Planner, and Question of the Day Google Slides. The same 48 weekly positive affirmations are included in all of the resources.

In my own 5th grade classroom, I printed this document out, placed each page in a sheet protector, and bound them in a binder for use in a center activity. Students use a whiteboard marker to practice the page of the week. It save me from printing a ton of copies and after the initial set up is done, I have an easy activity to throw into my centers rotation. Printing pages can be used in any order you want.

Please note: If you have trouble printing, be sure your printer drivers are up-to-date.
