This packet will help students to be able to identify sight words in order to help build reading fluency. There are many other skills that are worked on in this packet in addition to high frequency words such as alphabetical order and sentence structure all of which will help students on their road to success as readers.

This sampler can be used in class as daily work or can be sent home for homework as a weekly packet. It could also be sent home as a summer packet. There is a page that can be made into flashcards for practice along with five activities, one for each day, for each set of high frequency words. There is a sheet so that each students progress can me tracked. You can color in the words on the sheet as they are mastered.
