How to Catch a Yeti - Reader's Theater, Comp. Questions & Word Search
By Mr. Lee's Learners
Welcome to the holiday season! Get into the festive spirit with this Reader's Theater based on the book "How to Catch a Yeti" by Adam Wallace. This fun and engaging activity is perfect for those who want to get their family or class in the holiday spirit. With comprehension questions, vocabulary activities, and a word search. As a bonus there is also a rhyming words sheet included in this product. So let's get started and get into the holiday cheer!
Included in this resource are two versions of comprehension questions, tailored to suit different learning preferences. The short answer version encourages critical thinking and allows students to express their understanding in their own words, fostering creativity and deeper analysis. On the other hand, the multiple-choice version offers a structured approach, testing students' recall and recognition skills.
Additionally, this product includes two exciting word search puzzles, featuring words and themes from "How to Catch a Yeti". Word searches not only serve as a fun way to reinforce newly acquired vocabulary but also enhance visual perception and concentration skills. As a bonus, there are three coloring pages to use with your students!
About the Book
The How to Catch children are on a mission again to catch the legendary Yeti. They can only catch a glimpse of the Yeti as the track and follow the Yeti through the mountain. In an attempt to catch the Yeti the children use a variety of traps and tricks. Will they succeed and prove the existence of the mysterious Yeti?!?! This book pairs well with STEAM and STEM activities in your classroom or at home especially around the Christmas holiday season.
There are four versions included. The two versions have roles for two students and the other two versions are for three students. Each version is 2-2 1/2 pages.
I hope you enjoy using this reader’s theater with your students.
