This Life Skills Thanksgiving Grocery Ad activities resource is an excellent addition to your classroom to teach reading a grocery ad and shopping for foods based around the holiday of Thanksgiving.

This resource is designed for students with intellectual disabilities and autism but can be used in general education elementary grades or ELL.

This resource allows students to practice reading a grocery store ad, locating items in a grocery store ad, and determining how much items in the ad cost. Students will practice determining how much their meal will cost at the grocery store. Students will practice calculating the cost of a turkey and much more.

This resource has 5 activities centered around reading a grocery store ad and recognizing the prices of food items. Each activity has multiple levels of support (color-coded, cut and paste, write-in).

This resource provides opportunities for repetition in the classroom, which is essential for students with intellectual disabilities, as well as the use of visuals.
