This is a free social skills lesson focused on gift exchange. My Easy Social Skills Holiday lessons to explore and discuss each area to the best of your student’s ability. Students in your class will gain  a basic understanding of each other's likes and dislikes, as well as practicality in helping them learn how to thoughtfully choose gifts that reflect consideration, kindness and practicality. This Social Skills lesson is also perfect for Theory of mind and/ or Social problem solving.

I have provided a weekly template for birth through pre-K lesson planning. I used these standards in a language-delayed preschool classroom one semester. I find that it is the best set of standards for those with special needs.

These were originally designed with Arizona standards in mind, and your state might differ slightly. I've left a blank template for you to fill in your own standards if they differ from the ones I've provided.
