Students will use their knowledge of liquid and solid properties to bring a zombie to life! Following the scientific method, they'll observe, question, create a hypothesis, experiment, analyze results, form a conclusion, and share.

This challenge involves creating a liquid and solid combination that enables the solid ingredients to rise independently.

Raisins and a carbonated beverage are required. Other liquid and solid ingredients can be adapted to what you have on hand.

Students will use their knowledge of simple machines to create a chain reaction machine to catch a turkey. Following the engineering design process, they'll ask, imagine, plan, create, test, improve, and reflect.

This challenge involves incorporating at least two simple machines and devising a way to interconnect them, enabling the trap to function independently.
