Digital Daily Language Reviews - 3rd Grade Morning Work- Language Bell Ringers

Are you looking for a digital alternative the daily language reviews that you used in the classroom? Click and go morning work? Or maybe you need digital language arts task cards to use for distance learning ELAR centers? Or just a quick assessment? These daily language practice cards work with PowerPoint for Microsoft Teams and Google Slides for Google Classroom. The cards have interactive pieces that students can click and drag to boost student engagement.

These daily language practice activities are aligned to 3rd grade standards, but work great for remediation for struggling older students, reteaching from the summer or COVID-19 slide, challenging gifted younger students, or differentiation within grade level. Skills include capitalization, punctuation, spelling, plural nouns, verb tenses, compound words, contractions, abbreviations, multiple-meaning words, homophones, synonyms and antonyms, and alphabetical order. Answer keys are also included.

To Use as a Digital ELAR Center

Upload the card for the day to your digital classroom as an assignment. As you finish a lesson and break out to meet with a smaller group, have others complete the daily practice as an independent activity.

To Use as Task Cards

Upload the whole deck of cards to your digital classroom and have students work through the cards together, in groups, or independently to review the concepts.

To Use as Assessment

These cards are great for quick assessments togauge student understanding with just a few questions can implement intervention if needed before moving on to the next topic.

To Use as Bell Ringers

Use these as a morning greeting on your white board to get students engaged language thinking first thing in the morning.

Phonics Flashcards - Master CVC Words With Continuous Consonants

Set your beginning readers up for success with these continuous consonant CVC word cards. Words beginning with continuous consonants that can be stretched are easier for kindergarten and first grade students to blend.

These cards can be printed 2-sided, laminated, and cut to create quick practice activities for your students. Have students time each other in centers, set up fluency grids, or use as a quick progress monitoring tool.

You will get 72 cards total.

9 pages with 8 words per page (4 words are repeated to complete the last page).

AT Word Family Clip Cards

This packet contains clip cards for the AT word family. These clip cards are a great fine motor literacy center or as a Kindergarten phonics center. There are 3 different card types for each picture with several different representation of the words.

Types of Clip Cards

  • The first set of cards have the picture with the beginning sound or blend for the at word and students must clip the correct word family ending to complete the word. For example, the card will have a picture of a hat with h _ _ under the picture. The choices the student will choose from will be like at, ag or am.
  • The second set of cards have the picture with no word and the student must pick the correct word from a choice of 3 different words with the same beginning sound but with different ending word families. For example, students will see a picture of a hat and must choose the correct answer from these choices: hat, ham or han.
  • The third set of cards have the picture with no word and the student must pick the correct word from a choice of 3 different words with the same beginning and ending sound. Only the vowel is different. For example, students will see a picture of a hat and much choose the correct answer from these choices: hat, hit, or hot.
