This unit is geared towards preschoolers but may be appropriate for some kindergartners as well. If you're looking for more advanced activities, the Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Unit - Elementary School is adaptable for all elementary levels.

The Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Unit is part of my Field Trip Unit Series. The series was created with homeschoolers in mind, but can be adapted to be used in a classroom as well. Field trips are a great way to supplement learning, but often homeschoolers don’t get any background information on the location of their field trip and want to enrich their experience by expanding the learning at home before and after the trip. These units help give information and fun activities before and after the field trip.

These units are available in PreK/Kinder, Elementary, and Middle & High School levels. All Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Units follow the same outline and the parent/teacher info sheet is the same for all three so that if you have children of several ages, you can seamlessly teach them together. Homeschooling parents and teachers taking multiple grades on the trip can easily combine different units. Check out all of the levels below, as well as a money saving bundle.

Statement of Faith:

I believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. I believe that Jesus is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and paid the penalty for our sins through his death on the cross, resurrected on the third day having victory over death. 15-day lesson plans for the classroom or family during the 2020 advent season. The free version has basic lesson plans for classrooms and families to follow. The lesson plans include follow along plans for bible reading, a read aloud, suggested picture books and movies. It also includes suggested weekly themes for each week.

Help solve the mystery of which Gingerbread Man stole the cookie out of the cookie jar! Your little detectives will have fun solving mysteries while they are using deductive reasoning skills! (This is an important pre-math skill.)

There are FIVE different “cookie thief” mysteries included with this game. Each mystery contains unique clues and a unique guilty suspect. You can play any (or all!) of the five mysteries. The games can be printed in grayscale or in color, or can be viewed on a screen or whiteboard.

Also included is a page where students can color their own Gingerbread Man cookie thief!
