Handwriting improves a student's ability to recall information, make connections between different concepts, and synthesize information in new ways!

My handwriting book includes:

• Mnemonic keywords and pictures (this will help with memory of letter name and sound as they practice the writing of the letter)

Alphabet Hands On Learning Mats

Practice reading words by beginning sounds with these alphabet strips. This packet includes REAL photographs to practice phonics skills. Each letter is represented by its own strip of sentences to practice beginning sounds. Each consonant features words with the most common consonant sound and vowels include words with both long and short sounds for the vowels. The sentences are formatted like so: A is for apple.
