Teaching Roman numerals is a fun way to practice addition and subtraction of 1 and 10. I've taken a classic Montessori math work (the Snake Game) and added a unique twist. The snakes in this set represent the Roman numerals from 1–100. If your lower elementary children are ready for a fun new challenge, these cards are the perfect independent activity to get them excited about math again.

Only 5 different Montessori beads are used to make the Roman numerals from 1-100. Can you guess what they are? One, five, ten, negative 1, and negative 10! Your students will count the beads in the snake image and then use the included cards to form the matching Roman numeral. As usual, they’ll love the satisfaction of checking the answer on the back of the card. And you’ll love that they can do this work independently! There’s even a fun worksheet to track which cards they’ve completed.

Do your kindergarten and first-grade students write their letters from the bottom up? Help your students (left-handed kids included!) learn correct letter formation with these uppercase and lowercase letter tracing cards. These cards isolate the skill of letter formation so children develop the muscle memory needed to write the alphabet correctly.

It's impossible for teachers to watch over every letter their students are writing and it's easy for them to develop bad habits. These printable cards are Montessori-inspired and self-correcting so your students can be as independent as possible and you don't have to worry that they are starting from the bottom. All you have to do is teach them to start the letter on the green dot and finish on the red dot.

This is a printable version of the Montessori Pythagoras Board (in chart form). The cards are double-sided; one side has numbers and the other side has beads. The number cards are also color-coded to emphasize skip counting. It fits in a pocket chart or your students can do it on the ground. There are different ways of working with the material. The Montessori Number Cards introduce children to the decimal system. Children read and build large numbers and develop an understanding of the written numerical symbols for each category of the decimal system (i.e. units, tens, hundreds, thousands). This resource is a unique take on the traditional number cards. Lower Elementary children will have fun using this flip book to make numbers from 0 to 9999. Creative teachers will find all kinds of uses for this flip book. It's large enough to use for whole group lessons. Children can partner up and make numbers for each other to read or make with the Golden Beads. Endless possibilities.

To create the flip book it is recommended that you have access to a laminator and a coil-binding machine. Printing on card stock is advised for durability. The teen numbers can be tricky, but the Montessori Math approach can help! If you love the Montessori Teen Boards you’ll also love these math booklets as a fun extension activity. Students will get a lot of practice making and comparing teen numbers with these 8 easy to prep booklets. FIRST: Help your pre-k and kindergarten students learn correct letter formation without having to form complete letters. The pre-writing tracing cards isolate the individual strokes involved in forming the uppercase and lowercase letters.

THEN: Help your kindergarten and first-grade students (left-handed kids included!) learn correct letter formation with these uppercase and lowercase alphabet tracing cards. These cards isolate the skill of letter formation so children develop the muscle memory needed to write the alphabet correctly.

These printable cards are Montessori-inspired and self-correcting so your students can be as independent as possible. All you have to do is teach them to start the letter on the green dot and finish on the red dot.
