French Hotel Speaking Taboo Game and Question Cards Bundle

By Love Learning Languages - French Resources

Two of my favorite French hotel speaking activities to keep students engaged, communicating in French, and having fun are included in this bundle. If you are looking for ways to improve la communication orale in your French class, your students will love playing taboo and speaking French together using the question cards! Check out the preview for more details. Save 20% with this bundle.

Taboo is a fun French speaking and listening game where one student has to guess a word based on clues given in French by other students. The catch is that they cannot mention anything that is included in a list of taboo words.

All of the words on each card are written in French and English. This is very useful as many of the words will be new to students whether they are beginners or very advanced. You can easily modify this game to play it with all levels!

Question cards are perfect for reinforcing grammar, vocabulary, and getting your students to speak French together! Very low prep. Just print and cut out the cards and you're ready to go!

Almost all of the est-ce que questions are asked in the tu form and require students to reply using je. Some of the questions encourage oui and non responses, but never without pushing for a bit more information like asking pourquoi. The questions include le présent, le passé composé et le futur proche.

Included With Hotel Taboo Game:

  • How to play French Taboo (beginner and advanced levels)
  • 60 printable taboo cards in French and English
  • Page for recording new words in French in English

Included With Restaurant Question Cards:

  • 30 black and white speaking cards
  • 30 color speaking cards
  • 9 ways to use these cards
  • Scoot game instructions
  • Scoot recording sheet

Taboo Games Teacher Testimonial:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Love this! Great design, great differentiation of playing for lower levels (or higher levels), and love that there are so many topics! Great words included in each one." - Ashley Lefevre

Question Cards Teacher Testimonial:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “This is great for when I do group speaking time. My students move into their groups, choose a card and pose the question to their group. I like to walk around and listen to the conversations and grade using the TALK rubric.” - Ada M.
