Do your students need additional support identifying money, counting money, matching dollar amounts to currency and make purchases using the "next dollar up" method?

Functional money skills such as counting and identifying money to make purchases are critical to successful daily living. This SPRING Counting Mixed Money Unit reinforces these skills with progressively harder tasks beginning with matching dollar to dollar, progressing on to matching prices with dollars, then using the next dollar up method to make a purchase. The currency is in US dollars from $1 to $10. There 3 levels of learning with 10 cards per level!

This is an excellent resource for a range of students, from those with IEP Math or Money Goals to transition-to-work students and elementary students learning money skills. Each of the four Who What Where When Why Differentiated Worksheets comes with a digital WH question version of the story. Students will read the Spring, Mother's Day, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day-themed short stories and then answer the Who What Where When Why guided questions.

In the differentiated worksheets, students have the option to fill in the answers or choose from multiple-choice options. The Google Slides digital version has audio support for questions and answers, multiple-choice answers, and self-checking.

These mini-books include themes such as shamrocks, cookies, pot of gold, and coins. They have Google Slides™ and Seesaw versions included which makes them great for distance learning, homework, technology time and more!

This March/St. Patrick's Day Bundle includes:

6 different emergent readers with multiple versions

• Comparing Numbers Spring (There are 3 flowers and 3 butterflies. Compare the numbers and drag the correct symbol to the box.) numbers within 10

• Shamrock Teen Numbers (How many shamrocks are in the dirt? There are 12 shamrocks in the dirt.) includes numbers 11-20

• I Can Count by 10's Sweet Shop (There are 50 cookies in the shop) counts by 10's to 100

• Pot of Gold Addition (Fin found a pot of gold. The pot had 1 yellow coin and 1 green coin. How many coins did Fin find?) includes numbers 0-9 with answers 2-10, and diverse students with CVC names for easy decoding.

What has worked best for my students was to print on heavy-duty card stock and laminate.
