Great for in class or online use, your students will use this digital magnetic letters spelling resource as they practice building or manipulating words. It works with any reading / early literacy / phonics instruction program in the classroom, in reading intervention, or tutoring.

You can share the file with students in all the usual ways that you can share Google files. This activity is not just great for distance learning, but also works well for activities in class because you

• have an unlimited supply of letters because any of the tiles can be duplicated (never run out of ‘e’s!)
• don’t have to tidy the letters away after use or deal with unorganized letters (HUGE time savings!)
• can stop students in the middle of an activity and they can come back to exactly where they left off at another time.

In addition to the basic letter tiles, there are optional tiles with commonly used letter combinations. (See the file preview to see which letter combinations are included.) This file also includes accented letters, which makes the file useful for teachers of languages other than English.

Thee are many ways to use this file!

Use it for:

• Word Manipulation
• Spelling Practice
• Word Ladders
• You could project it for large group work,
• use it on an interactive whiteboard,
• or you could share the file with students. They can each have their own copy, or the activity can be collaborative if they are given shared access to the file.
• You can customize a Slides file to include only the letter tiles students will need for a particular lesson.
• Just like a 'regular' magnetic letters center activity, you can have students copy the words they've created onto a piece of paper. Unlike a regular magnetic letters center activity, you can go back and look at the work they did with the magnetic letters to see if any errors in the written copy were made with the letters or were made when copying.

Enter five letters the student recalled incorrectly and five letters the student was able to remember. Independent practice, fluency probes, and letter cards will be generated automatically using the letters entered!

This reading fluency packet is perfect for parent-teacher conferences! Provide this resource to parents so they have some tips and tools at their disposal to help their children with fluency and accuracy in their read-aloud time at home.

In this packet, you will receive eight valuable and practical tips for helping children while they are reading out loud.

Embedded in the tips are prompts and activities or strategies to use with the child depending on their area of struggle. Different prompts are used for various issues (for example, there are prompts provided for kids who rely too heavily on phonics and others for students who are not using the context or meaning in the story to help them solve unknown words).

The final two pages are printable reading interest inventories for use in the classroom or with individual students to determine their feelings about reading and about themselves as a reader. These may help determine topics of interest for students in reading and also about specific issues or struggles that the student is having with regards to reading.
