Complete Sentences and Incomplete Sentences Google Slides™
By Jennifer Connett
This slides activity begins with a mini lesson on complete sentences and incomplete sentences. Students will read each sentence or sentence fragment and click yes if the words make a complete sentence or click no if the words form an incomplete sentence. There is a card at the beginning of the deck that helps students remember the rules for a complete sentence.

Complete and Incomplete Sentences
3rd person singular present tense: 's' or no 's'? Boom Cards Set 4
By TamiaDesigns
Students with language learning difficulty and some English language learners may have difficulty knowing when to add an 's' on the end of 3rd person singular verbs. This Boom Cards™ deck hosted at Boom Learning℠ gives students practice using the correct form. Fourteen different illustrated sentences, are each presented and students choose the correct form of the verb to complete the sentence. Half the sentences have a singular subject (he / she), the other half have a plural subject (they.) Students type the correct form of the provided verb. This activity is self-checking so students get instant feedback and the chance to self-correct. The cards will show up in different order each time the deck is played.
Included verbs: brush, write, put, make, comb, eat, raise, ride, skate, play, like, sleep, help, cook. For versions of this activity where students will always have to make the verb singular, check out 3rd Person Set 1 and Set 2 in my store. For a version where students only have to click on the correct verb, check out Set 3.
