One of my favorite activities at the beginning of the year is to read the story Chrysanthemum and send home this homework sheet to learn more about my new kiddos. Give the parents some homework for a change!

This resource has 2 options for homework to send home to learn how your students were given their names.

The second you’ll find in the zipped folder you purchase is access to mailing labels, of which there are 3 to choose from (my creative original, a general one, and the USPS official one). You have an Avery labels set that’s blank, and another with the labels on them.

Note: Only the USPS official address can be mailed - the other two are for fun but won't necessarily go anywhere unless you plan it some other way. There's also no guarantee the USPS-sent mail will get an answer as they depend on others to step up. More about that here.

About the labels: (5160 labels, set of 30)

Or you can adhere with the printed version without the peel-and-stick, using glue or tape. I highly recommend using the p&s version so you can print right onto them. Or simply WRITE the addresses by hand!
