Painted Lady Butterflies in pdf form has now been made for use in the Google Classroom™. You can share this resource with your students through Google Classroom™ or Google Drive™. Students can then type directly on this document and share it back with you.

This non-fiction text is about the Painted Lady Butterfly. Students will read about painted lady butterfly eggs, painted lady caterpillars, and the butterfly itself. This is a good independent read for eight and nine-year-olds, and the perfect read-aloud for younger children. There is a poster of the Painted Lady with the parts labeled. Suggested video links are included, There are several follow-up worksheets. These are on different levels so you can choose what is appropriate for your individual class or students. These include life-cycle sheets.

If your class is lucky enough to have Painted Lady Larva to observe there is a sheet explaining the humane treatment of the butterfly.

A class set of activities might take around 15-20 minutes to mark; the teacher can then send the students their marks automatically, which allows them to read back through their work. Nearly all answers are not automatically generated, but only require a small amount of work to assign points. This is because the aim is to get students writing answers and not to just have multiple choice options.

Geographical web quest which introduces kids to the region of the Earth known as the Arctic. What are Decomposers? has now been made for use in the Google Classroom™. You can share this resource with your students through Google Classroom™ or Google Drive™. Students can then type directly on this document and share it back with you.

Do your students have a hard time understanding what decomposers are? This resource helps students gain a better understanding of this concept. There is a non-fiction text that tells students about different types of decomposers and their role in the environment. There are follow-up questions for the passage to check student understanding or to guide group discussions. There are also two mini posters; one of the decomposers and one of matter that is being decomposed. Several simple decomposition activities are also included, along with observation sheets..

What exactly is impeachment? In U.S. History, only three presidents have been impeached. Those presidents were Andrew Johnson,Bill Clinton and Donald Trump(twice). Neither were convicted during a trial and finished out their terms of office.  President, Richard Nixon, was going to be impeached but he resigned, pressured by members of his own Republican party, before he was impeached.  

Use this webquest to introduce students to the issue of impeachment, how the founding fathers determined the use of impeachment in the U.S. Constitution and the history of impeachment.

There are 11 web questions on this topic(including the Order of Succession and the Checks and Balances between the three branches of government). There is also a short Did You Know? section and several comprehension questions. The Teacher Page includes the key and several extension activities.

Time allowance to assess:

A class set of activities might take around 15-20 minutes to mark; the teacher can then send the students their marks automatically, which allows them to read back through their work. Nearly all answers are not automatically generated, but only require a small amount of work to assign points. This is because the aim is to get students writing answers and not to just have multiple choice options.

Want to introduce your students to the state of Alaska and are looking for an enrichment activity? This resource includes a map skill activity and 12 informational web questions. Additionally, there are lots of fun facts about the state of Alaska and a number of extension activities.

The activity can be done in one class period or over a couple of days if you choose to use some of the extension activities. A great resource to help develop reading and informational skills!

South Korea is in the News. This would be a great opportunity to introduce students to the county of South Korea. In 2018, South Korea, also hosted the Winter Olympics.There are 11 web questions, lots of Did You Know? facts, comprehension questions and a teacher page with 7 extension activities. There is also a key for both the web quest and comprehension questions and additional links for teachers. Although the activity could be done in one class period, if you decide to do some of the extension activities, this resource could be used over several days.
